Cindy Davis, MA Humanistic/Transpersonal Psychology, BA Dance, is a dancer, artist, writer, and teacher.  Her sensitive and compassionate nature honors embodied practices of movement and stillness as sacred pathways for personal and collective healing and transformation.  She offers individual sessions, group classes and workshops using process-based transformative movement and embodied expressive arts to foster physical, emotional and spiritual well-being through engaged curiosity, play, and, body/soul awareness.

Cindy brings to her work a rich personal and academic background in:

Cindy teaches private and small group Authentic Movement sessions, a movement meditation practice with roots in Jungian Psychology & Dance/Movement therapy. Her teachings are also influenced by ongoing apprenticeship and performance with post-modern dance pioneer Anna Halprin and the Life/Art Process, as well as other somatic practices such as Continuum Movement, Body-Mind Centering, meditation, guided visualization, and yoga. She has taught at Sonoma State University, JFK University, Holy Names University, and at the Center for Spiritual Enlightenment. It is her passion to introduce others to the wonders and wisdom within the body/soul, using movement and the expressive arts as catalysts for healing, self-growth and transformation.
